COCKTAILS

The JAN Summer Cup made with The Botanist Gin

When imagining a lazy, poolside afternoon, a heady yet icy gin and tonic usually completes the picture. A classic indeed, but can a G&T - no matter how dressed up - really be counted on for that unmistakable touch of glamour?

THE JAN SUMMER CUP

Combine 40 ml of The Botanist Gin, 15 ml Caperitif Dry Vermouth, 15 ml Cointreau, 30 ml Fresh Lime Juice and 15 ml Sugar Syrup with a handful of mint leaves in a cocktail shaker.

Give it a light muddle, fill your shaker with ice and give it a hard shake before fine straining it into a chilled coupe glass

Garnish with edible flowers of your choice.

When imagining a lazy, poolside afternoon, a heady yet icy gin and tonic usually completes the picture. A classic indeed, but can a G&T – no matter how dressed up – really be counted on for that unmistakable touch of glamour? We all have those Taylor and Burton days, after all. Enter the Summer Cup! If you can shake it, you can make it – it’s that easy. The rest comes down to your flower prowess to make it “wow”.
