Jan innovation studio!

Since launching our specially crafted lunches in February of this year, we have been overwhelmed by the popularity of our events. Let my team in Cape Town treat you like royalty as you join them for a cosy winter lunch, which I designed and curated closely with them. Enjoy multiple tantalising courses of reimagined come cooking, accompanied by rare and fine wines from across South Africa.

Before dessert, explore the Studio Library’s collection of treasured cookbooks while embarking on a tour du fromage at the cheese table, with a peek into the creative home of JAN the Journal. Then, return to a refreshed dining space where you will be treated to my favourite collection of sweet treats.

This one-of-a-kind luncheon experience is limited to a small number of guests per event to ensure your utmost safety, and to allow us to treat you like royalty. All beverages are included.

We can accommodate reasonable dietary requirements indicated at the time of booking.

Regrettably, we are unable to accommodate any dietary requirements or menu adaptations on the day of service.


Reservations are confirmed when the full upfront payment has been secured.

Reservations that have not been secured with a full upfront payment within 72 hours of making your booking, will be cancelled automatically.

Cancellations or changes made within 72 hours of reserved date are non-refundable.

In the event of adjusted national lockdown regulations that affect lunch services, reservations will be rescheduled to the next available date.
