WHAT YOU’LL EXPERIENCE

terms & conditions
1. COMPETITION PERIOD
This competition closes 14 September 2026. NO ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED outside this window. This is a limited-time competition.
2. HOW TO ENTER
To enter during the competition period, you must:
Purchase a minimum of one box of JAN Red and White and JAN Rosé from https://janonline.com/shop
Check your bottles for the golden cork.
Email voyage@janhendrik.com with an image of your Golden Cork.
All claims must be submitted before 23:59 SAST on 14 September 2026
3. ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible, you must:
Be 18 years of age or older
Be a South Africa resident
Have a valid passport for international travel
Provide valid identification and contact information
Enter only one person per household during the competition period
4. THE PRIZE
If you find the Golden Cork, you and one (1) travel companion will be invited to a 6-day JAN Voyage experience in Italy and France (6-11 October 2026).
5. WINNER NOTIFICATION & ACCEPTANCE
Upon verification of the Golden Cork and proof of purchase:
You will be contacted via email or phone within 7 days of verification
You must confirm acceptance within 7 days or the prize will be forfeited
You must name your travel companion at acceptance.
You must be in good health and able to participate in all activities; JAN reserves the right to require medical clearance
You must obtain a valid passport and all required visas; JAN is not responsible for visa denial
6. PROOF OF PURCHASE & VERIFICATION
Winners must provide:

The Golden Cork for inspection and verification
JAN reserves the right to verify the authenticity of both and disqualify any fraudulent entries.
7. TRAVEL TERMS & LIABILITY
By accepting the prize, you and your travel companion understand and agree that:
You participate in the JAN Voyage experience entirely at your own risk
Travel dates (6-11 October 2026) are set by JAN and cannot be changed to accommodate individual schedules
You must sign a liability waiver before travel
JAN is not responsible for: illness, injury, death, lost property, flight cancellations/delays, visa delays or denials, lost luggage, or itinerary changes due to weather, safety concerns, or circumstances beyond JAN’s control
You must purchase comprehensive travel insurance (strongly recommended)
You release and hold harmless JAN, its owners, employees, and partners from any claims arising from participation
8. NO PRIZE SUBSTITUTION OR TRANSFER
The prize is non-transferable and cannot be sold, exchanged, or substituted for cash or other items. If you are unable to travel or accept the prize, it will be forfeited with no compensation offered.
9. PHOTOGRAPHY & MEDIA RIGHTS
By accepting the prize, you grant JAN the right to photograph and/or film your participation in the JAN Voyage and use these images for promotional purposes on social media, websites, and marketing materials. You may opt out by providing written notice at the time of prize acceptance.
10. DATA PROTECTION & PRIVACY
JAN collects personal information (name, email, phone, address) only for administering this competition and delivering the prize. Information is kept confidential and will not be shared with third parties without consent, except where required by law or for delivery of travel services. Your data is handled in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), 2013.
11. DISQUALIFICATION
JAN reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who:
Submits fraudulent or fake evidence of a Golden Cork
Violates these Terms & Conditions
Harasses JAN staff, partners, or fellow travellers
Behaves in a manner that endangers the safety or experience of others
Fails to comply with program guidelines or instructions during the voyage
Purchase/Claim after 14 September 2026
12. CHANGES TO PROMOTION
JAN reserves the right to modify or cancel this competition at any time with written notice. In the event of cancellation, JAN will work with winners to either reschedule the experience or offer a reasonable alternative.
13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
In no event shall JAN be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from participation in this competition or the prize experience.
14. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa. All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.
