By visiting janonline.com and/or purchasing something from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). These Terms apply to all users of the site, including browsers, customers, and contributors of content.
We operate as an online shop, offering products for purchase directly through our website.
We may update or change these Terms at any time by posting updates to this page. Your continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of such changes.
- Local Delivery Policy
- Order Processing: Once your order is confirmed, you will receive an email notification. Soon thereafter, your order will be shipped, and you will receive a tracking code. Please allow up to 2 additional business days for processing before shipment.
- Delivery Times: Estimated delivery is 7–10 business days. Shipping and billing addresses must be correct for timely processing.
- Stock Levels: Orders are fulfilled in the order they are received. Due to high demand, some items may sell out before your order is processed.
- Delays: Delivery times are estimates only. Orders may take longer during peak seasons, sales, or unforeseen courier delays.
- Couriers: We use reputable courier partners, with Aramex as our first choice. Should Aramex not be available, we will arrange an alternative trusted courier.
- Shipping Address: Orders will be shipped to the address provided by the purchaser, provided it complies with our shipping restrictions. No deliveries will be made to PO Box addresses.
- Risk: Once your parcel leaves us, it is in the care of the courier. While we do our best to ensure safe delivery, we cannot be held liable for delays, loss, or damage beyond our control.
- International Delivery Policy
- Quotations: For international deliveries, we will obtain a shipping quote and send it to you for approval before dispatch.
- Delivery Costs: International shipping costs are for the customer’s own account.
- Customs & Taxes: Customers are responsible for all customs duties, taxes, and import charges in their country.
- Restrictions: We do our best to check delivery restrictions for each destination. However, if an item is shipped and later restricted, seized, or returned by customs in that country, JANONLINE cannot be held liable.
- Pre-check note: Please check your country’s import and customs restrictions before placing an order to ensure the items can be delivered.
- Returns & Exchanges
We want you to love your purchase! If you’re not fully satisfied, you may return or exchange within 7 days of delivery, provided that:
- The item is unused, in original condition, and returned in its original packaging.
- You notify us within 7 days by emailing [email protected] with your order number.
- Return shipping is at the customer’s cost (unless the item was faulty/damaged on arrival).
- Original shipping fees are non-refundable. If you qualified for free shipping, the cost of R85 will be deducted from your refund.
- Exchanges: If you wish to exchange an item that is not faulty or damaged, the cost of returning the original item and the cost of shipping the replacement item will be for your own account.
- No returns/exchanges on: sale items, perishable goods (e.g. olive oil), custom orders, or items bought as part of a donation campaign.
- Antiques & Vintage Items: Antiques and vintage items are sold as final sales and cannot be returned unless they were significantly misrepresented.
- For hygiene reasons, certain products (e.g. opened soaps/lotions) cannot be returned unless defective.
- Faulty items: Please contact us immediately. We inspect all items carefully before shipping, but should a product arrive damaged, we will arrange a replacement/refund.

- Order Cancellations
- If you wish to cancel your order, please email us as soon as possible.
- We can only cancel and refund if the order has not yet shipped.
- Once shipped, our Returns Policy applies.
- Sale Terms
For SALE periods, the following apply:
- All sale orders are final – no returns or exchanges.
- Orders not paid within 24 hours will be cancelled.
- No express delivery, gift wrapping, or special packaging on sale items.
- Discount codes are valid only for the period specified.
- Charity/donation items are excluded from discounts.
- Accuracy of Information
We do our best to keep all information, descriptions, and prices accurate. However, errors may occur, and we reserve the right to correct them or cancel orders if necessary.
We also make every effort to display product images and colours as accurately as possible. However, due to differences in lighting, screen settings, and suppliers, actual products may vary slightly in colour, appearance, or packaging from what is shown online. These variations do not constitute defects or grounds for return.
For antiques and vintage items, we try to photograph and describe them as accurately as possible. Please note, however, that antiques are by nature unique and may show signs of wear, age, or minor damage not always fully captured in photos. Such variations form part of the character of the item and are not considered defects.
- Pricing & Payment
- All prices are in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT.
- Prices are subject to change without notice.
- We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders we suspect are fraudulent, bulk reseller orders, or incorrectly priced.
- Intellectual Property
All content on this site, including text, images, product designs, and trademarks, are owned by JAN (Pty) Ltd. You may not reproduce, copy, or use them without written consent.
- Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, damage, or delay arising from your use of our site, our products, or third-party courier services.
