BLOODY MARY

This undisputed classic has seen more incarnations than Madonna over the span of career. It is sometimes garnished with beef or chorizo, sometimes prawns or all manner of fruits and vegetables, and sometimes even onion rings or pretzels. But when it comes to a scaring up a great morning-after Bloody Mary, the simpler the better.

BLOODY MARY

In a shaker, muddle 45ml of vodka, cucumber, a dash of tabasco and 7.5 ml of dry vermouth. Strain into a rocks glass filled with ice. Top off with 45ml of  tomato juice and garnish with the celery and olives
