JAN THE JOURNAL’S STUNNING IMAGERY IS FINALLY AVAILABLE TO OWN
After three years and six volumes, JAN the Journal has become one of South Africa’s most beautiful publications, boasting a wide array of original images, recipes and lifestyle content. Content from JAN the Journal has featured in various international and local publications, including The Sunday Times, British Airways SLOW Magazine, Chef, Wanted and Taste Magazine, and its imagery has become a part of two bestselling Hertex HAUS homeware ranges. Finally, our rich array of originally produced imagery can be yours to own.
ABOUT THE JOURNAL GALLERY
The Journal Gallery will be making a limited number of prints available – produced in collaboration with ORMS, one of South Africa’s leading art printers – which will be reproduced on the finest quality paper.
FROM THE HEART OF THE INNOVATION STUDIO
To celebrate the launch of the Journal Gallery, we will be making the Triptique in White – the original images from the opening pages of JAN the Journal Volume 3 that first graced the walls of JAN Innovation Studio in Cape Town when it opened in July 2019 – available to buy.
These original prints, photographed by Cape Town-based photographer Matanna Katz, hold special significance in JAN’s journey back to South Africa, as the Innovation Studio hosted Michelin-star Chef Jan Hendrik van der Westhuizen’s first dinner experiences in a dedicated, personally designed and curated venue on home soil.
A BOLD STATEMENT
Large imagery, especially when acquired as a series, can make a bold statement when entering a space like your home or place of work. It immediately puts your guests in the picture, informing them of your personal taste and what’s important to you. Like any decoration choices, making a bold statement exudes confidence, invites conversation, and creates a convivial atmosphere. More importantly, sourcing your wall art from a supplier who releases only limited prints, your space becomes unique and intriguing, telling a story of your own journey.
