KLEIN JAN COMPETITION – TERMS AND CONDITIONS
TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
This Competition (the “Competition”) is organised by JAN Innovation Studio (Pty) Ltd, 87 Kloof Street, 1st Floor Gardens, Cape Town (the “Promoter”). All participants (“Participants”) in this Competition shall be subject to these Terms and Conditions. By participating in this Competition, Participants warrant that they have read and agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions:
- This Competition runs between 1st and 30th April 2022. Entries close at midnight 30 April 2022.
- This Competition is only open to South African residents.
- To enter, participants must follow @janhendrikvanderwesthuizen and @restaurantkleinjan on Instagram and tag a friend in the comments of the competition post on @restaurantkleinjan or @janhendrikvanderwesthuizen, as well as like the post and share it to their Instagram story. If they are entering on Facebook they will need to follow the Jan Hendrik van der Westhuizen Facebook page and tag a friend in the comments. Multiple tags/ entries are welcome on all platforms but repeat tags will only be counted once.
- Three finalists will be selected, one from each of the competition posts, and entered into a final live draw on @janhendrikvanderwesthuizen’s Instagram page, the time and date of which will be announced once the finalists are confirmed.
- Only one final winner will be selected across all of the platforms and out of the three finalists.
- The finalists and ultimate winner will be selected by the JAN team and the judges’ decision is final.
- The finalists will be contacted via DM (Direct Message) on their chosen entry social media platform.
- The finalists will have 48 hours to respond to the message from the JAN team. If the finalist does not respond within 48 hours the finalist forfeits their spot and a new finalist will be chosen
- Employees of JAN Innovation Studio, Restaurant Klein JAN, Tswalu Kalahari Reserve and their immediate family and friends are not permitted to enter this Competition.
- The winner will receive (i) Return flights for two people from either Johannesburg or Cape Town to Tswalu Kalahari Reserve where Restaurant Klein JAN is located (ii) airport transfers for two people from the airport to Tswalu (iii) two nights’ accommodation including meals for two people at a Tswalu location selected by the Klein JAN team (iv) a meal for two at Klein JAN.
- Participants must be able to travel from and return to either Cape Town or Johannesburg only.
- Flights are subject to an existing scheduled Tswalu charter and are subject to availability.
- No other prizes are included for the entrants of the lucky draw. The prize excludes airport transfer to and from the airports in Cape Town or Johannesburg.
- The judges’ decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
- The prize cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash.
- By entering, the winner consents to having their name publicly announced on social media.
- JAN Innovation Studio and Klein JAN will not be held liable for entries not received for any reason whatsoever and will not be responsible for network connectivity or hardware issues experienced while participating.
- Jan Innovation Studio and Klein JAN reserve the right to cancel or amend the Competition and these Terms and Conditions without notice.
- Entry into this Competition will be deemed as acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
- The prize will be redeemable for up to 12 months from the date of announcement of the winner, which will occur in early May 2022 latest.
- Winners must notify the JAN team at least 6 weeks ahead of their intended stay and travel dates in order to allow for the JAN team to make the necessary arrangements.
- The JAN team reserves the right to select the dates whereby the prize can be redeemed once they have heard from the winner six weeks ahead of travel being planned. This is to allow for the arrangement of travel, accommodation and reservations etc. based on availability at the time.
- The JAN team and Tswalu Kalahari Reserve will not be held liable for last minute disruptions to travel, accommodation etc. for the winner.
- The offer is mutually exclusive and cannot be combined or used in conjunction with any other special rates or promotions offered by Tswalu.
